We are looking for a travel ball team in the Hoover/Birmingham area for our 14 year old son. He has been a very active baseball player since the age of 4 with the highlight of his career so far being selected to his 12 yo All-Star team and making it to the final regional round of the Little League World Series. While there he played 2 televised games on ESPN and won the Award for Kellogs Play of the game for his performance at 3rd base. He also plays center and pitcher. He is right handed. The Oxford Swarm 12U MAJOR is looking for a Major level catcher to fill in during Middle School baseball. Rosters are not frozen until April 1, 2012 which will allow someone to play without having to be tied down. We will be needing the player to play through the 1st week in April. This will be four tournaments. We will be willing to drop the player when they start playing for their team. We are hoping that someone is in the same situation as our team and would like for it to be beneficial for both parties. It is not mandatory for the player to practice with our team, but we will spend some time to get them ready. Hi! I’m looking for a team for my son in Southwest AL or Along the Gulf Coast 13U/14U? We live on the MS/AL. Where we live they do not have a Middle School Program. He is 13, 5’8″, 135, above avg. speed, great hands, bats right, throws right and is a utility player (infield/outfield…middle reliever). He has played travel ball since he was 5 and is getting the itch to play again. His team is no longer together.He has batted 2nd or 3rd in the line-up for 7 yrs. His statistics allowed him to be in the Top 5 of 3 out 5 categories at the Southwestern Regional Tournament. We can get coaches or umpire references if needed on his skills/ability and attitude. I am looking for a baseball team for my son Trent, he is 12 birthday is in Oct. he is 5′ & 71pounds. Trent is right handed and has played from age 5, he was the catcher most of this time also filled in as pitcher, second, short and some out field.
